Step One

Let Us Know What You Have In Mind

Find a custom engagement ring design that inspires you from our website, social media platforms or other sources, or share your own ideas with us. Whether you have a clear vision or are starting with a few inspiration images, our engagement ring specialists will help bring your concept to life.

Our team will review your design preferences, diamond requirements, budget and style goals to begin creating a bespoke engagement ring tailored specifically to you. Once we understand your vision, we’ll prepare a personalised quotation and guide you through the next steps of the custom design process.

Step Two

Once we receive your design ideas, our engagement ring specialists will review your requirements and discuss the details of your custom engagement ring. This includes your preferred diamond shape, diamond size, metal choice and overall design preferences.

Using this information, we will prepare a personalised quotation tailored to your specifications. Our team will also provide expert guidance to help you achieve the perfect balance between design, diamond quality and budget.

Step Three

Approve Your Quotation

Once you are happy with the quotation and ready to proceed, we will issue an invoice for a 50% deposit to begin the design process. Following payment, our designer will create a detailed CAD (Computer-Aided Design) rendering of your custom engagement ring.

The CAD design allows you to visualise your ring before it is manufactured and gives you the opportunity to review the proportions, setting details and overall design. Any required adjustments can be made at this stage to ensure every detail is exactly as you envisioned before production begins.

Step Four

Approve the design

Once your custom engagement ring design has been completed, we will send you a detailed photo-realistic CAD rendering showing exactly how your ring will look before production begins.

This stage allows you to review every aspect of the design, including the diamond setting, proportions, metal details and overall aesthetic. If there are any adjustments you would like to make, our designer will refine the design to ensure it perfectly matches your vision.

Once you have approved the final design, we will move forward with manufacturing your one-of-a-kind engagement ring.

Step Five

Production of your ring

Once your design has been approved, we begin crafting your custom engagement ring in our Cape Town workshop. Using the approved CAD design, a precision wax model is created before your ring is carefully cast, assembled and finished in your chosen precious metal.

Our experienced jewellers meticulously hand-finish every detail to ensure exceptional quality, comfort and durability. This stage typically takes approximately 10–14 working days, during which your one-of-a-kind ring is transformed from a digital design into a beautifully crafted piece of jewellery.

Step Six

Receive your ring

The final step is the most exciting. Once your custom engagement ring has been completed and passed our quality inspection, it will be ready for collection or delivery.

Your finished ring will reflect the vision, craftsmanship and attention to detail that went into every stage of the design process. Before collection, the remaining balance will be payable, after which your one-of-a-kind engagement ring is ready to become part of your story.
