Tell us how you met?
When we first started talking Aulton knew then and there that I was the one he wanted to marry. We met at the beach the place we love most. It went from fishing to casual dates and we knew we wanted to be together! It went from a day at the beach to a night under the stars until he asked me to be his girlfriend.
Tell us about the proposal?
The proposal was at our first official date at Clifton beach. Aulton was full of surprises. Went for a drive around the Cape with amazing scenery, walks along the beach and at the exact spot where our first date was he asked me to marry him!
Tell us about your engagement ring?
After looking at pictures and different designs I always knew I wanted a ring with an emerald-cut stone. Something unique, but still something that suits me at the same time. And Grand Diamonds had the perfect ring just the way I imagined it! Both me and Aulton fell in love with the ring.
Any advice to other couples looking to get engaged?
If you are planning on getting engaged. Enjoy the journey. Always remember: Love is patient, love is kind, it does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud, it does not dishonour others, it’s not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs, love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres, LOVE NEVER FAILS.
