The Shweshwe Collection

Our South African Collection sport a traditional design namely Shweshwe. Shweshwe is based on a traditional African fabric unique to South Africa. Fabric producer DA Gama rate the Shweshwe fabric as the country’s number one fabric as it is worn by most South African women. One could describe it as the ‘tartan of South Africa. It, therefore, seems only fitting to pay tribute to this precious historic fabric dating back to the 1850s! Like the design elements on the Shweshwe fabric, we endeavoured to capture the essence of South Africa in our Shweshwe rings – showcasing an array of beautiful, animals and bucket-list destinations. Our Shweshwe ring encapsulates a South African love story and a people who love her.
